Project Title: Teaching Groups of Inspiration
Project Purpose: This project aims at bringing lessons of General English, Life, Character and Value Building, and other lessons of social issues to the young and community people in order that they can empower themselves and seek out better changes.
Project Summary: At the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), members and other voluntary members of A to Inspire conduct the teachings and trainings at the poor communities, slums, and orphanages both in and outside the city. With inspirational lessons and other fun activities, this project tries to inspire local people especially young and adults to grow with potentials and ability to benefit themselves and others.
The Need of This Project: It’s very important that young people especially those who cannot access to formal education receive the life lessons, information about social issues, living value, and other practical trainings so that they can build themself up and make the changes in their lives.
Ongoing Process: Since the establishment of A to Inspire, this project has been carried out with the pocket money and fund raised from members. Now this project is carried out with lots of more activities and on varieties of topics. With success and achievement, we are making great effort to seek fund and support to maintain the sustainability of this project.
Project Title: Young Seeds of Arts
Purpose: This project aims to promote and raise the awareness of Khmer culture and arts to children and adults in the poor communities and orphanages.
Project Summary: Young artists are poor children and orphans who will be involved in this project. Those children are supported and encouraged to learn some forms of Cambodian culture and arts so that they can performed for the public. Teachers of arts are invited to teach those children to dance, sing, perform, and play music, etc.
The Need of the Project: Since these orphans are living in hardship and having no proper housing and learning, they need to find ways that can help them improve their lives. These children need teachers to train them vaious form of arts, enough food and propers shelter, study materials, etc. This project will enable them to get proper arts trainings so that they can performe a lots more as parts to earn their living and to support their study.
Advantages:
- Raise fund to support their study and living
- Perform in other educational project to inspire other children and adults
- Preserve and promote traditional culture
- Motivate them to live, love and learn from their lives
